My Appointment at Froedtert Today

I went to Milwaukee,Wisconsin to Froedtert Hospital and Clinics for my third evaluation for a kidney transplant. First, I had an EKG done on the 4th floor and I saw the doctor and kidney coordinator. Doing a weigh-in is something I am used to, but I don‘t like doing it. I do not know why, either. I just do not like doing it even though, according to their scale, I am 184.5 pounds. I am taking a weekly dose of Wegovy and eating my three meals a day, snacking, and have my allotted amount of fluids a day that is 32 to 34 ounces of fluid a day. I will NOT argue or complain, or (please excuse me for swearing) bitch about why the clinic weighs their patients. I hate it, but I cannot argue with why they want weigh-ins. Why they do weigh-ins is because there are telltale issues of issues that come about with kidney disease and transplanted kidneys can show up in a patient’s weigh-in at every clinic appointment.

The next thing I want to mention is how I get to my medical appointments. I have to call a company called MTM. Although the government offers this business to schedule necessary rides that are nor emergency rides, I have mixed feelings about having to call to have a total strangest put your medical information into a computer each and every week. I literally dislike (hate) it. I am NOT very comfortable with doing weigh-ins even though telltale signs of troubles with the newly transplanted kidneys that can bring up. I am ok with it and sometimes leery about it. Anyway, today I really DID NOT have no difficulty up and on the scale today. I was shocked and indeed PLEASED with the result of my weight at this time of day. My next appointment is in August now,
