Dreams and Hallucinations

Oh, my goodness gracious, do I still remember my dreams while in the hospital 🏥 when I was stuck in the hospital for a few days because I was taking Ativan and hallucinated as well. To be honest, I do not remember that I have fallen asleep, but I did. The dreams were nightmares. I hallucinated so badly that I did not notice a hallucination from a dream to be very honest with you. I learned from the nurses that I did sleep. I was in the hospital more than four planned turned into 7 days. The drug, also known as Lorazepam was given to me because of  blood pressure was very high. I was given the drug and two days later, I was beginning to see the TV remote/call the nurse bend and get distorted on a Saturday when my boyfriend and his mom came to visit after church.

All that weekend I called Tanya to pray with me because water was dripping from the ceiling. When we prayed, the rain stopped but would come back moments later. Now, remember, I am beginning to hallucinate at this point, so me calling Tanya, my boyfriend’s mom may have been real or part of a dream. I do not believe it really happened or I was dreaming this calling and talking to Tanya.

The next thing I remember is hearing my friend, my BFF, Julie M and Pastor Swamidass in the hallway and my room door closed. They were praying because I told Tanya to have Pastor and Julie come up to rid what I thought was a demonic presence in my room. The hospital floor was having an exorcism. I got out of bed to go to the door, and my walker began to become distorted, bending and melting right in front of me. I got to the bathroom, and I was yelling or screaming, and the next thing I heard was a nurse or two yelling my name and I had fallen and hit my head on the wall. I was out for a while and found myself back in bed when I had awakened from the blackout with a catheter pulling urine because I must have had a UTI. The nurse and doctor came into my room and told me what happened to me that day that night. It was the beginning of a bigger picture yet to come.
