Chazal* say that the Song of Songs is the Holy of Holies of all the bible. It's much more than a love song between a man and a woman. It is so easy for us in our physical 3D world (as my Rabbi referred to it) to see things from only our perspective. And when we do that, we limit our ability to 'go beyond' the confines of the reality we find ourselves in.

In order to glimpse the higher dimensions, we need to practice seeing things from God's perspective.

There is a blessing that the Rabbis of long ago would say to each other, "May you see your world in your lifetime." They meant, may you see the greater reality around you. This world, and the world to come, while you are in this world!

That is what I want to talk about in these pages. I'm not sure just how I'm going to do it, but I decided to just dive in and see where it takes us. I don't have an agenda. But I thought it might be good to keep a record of what I was studying in 2024. That's part of the beauty of Dear Diary. Day by day we are documenting our thought processes and experiences of life, and eventually we have a body of work we never imagined we could accumulate!
