Warranties Wrock
Fri Jun 25 2004

#3 had his glasses stepped on at school a short while ago. When we first purchased these glasses, I had the foresight to purchase a warranty on them. For the first year replacement are covered 90%, and in the second year they are covered 70%. In November, the two years will be up.

Today we dashed over to the place we got the glasses from and had them replaced. The cost was $80.00 for both the frames and lenses.

COOL.

I was SO not looking forward to it being so much more. I couldn’t remember how much I paid when we initially got them; I just remembered that his script was funky enough that the same day glasses place couldn’t do them in the same day. I can live with 80 bucks.

While I wait to go pick up the replacement glasses, I’m bumbling around the house between laundry and a few other chores. I re-arranged the furniture in my room, and whenever I do that I usually shampoo the carpet also. I’ve got most of the room done, and when I went back to finish the job I found Hubby curled up taking a nap. Not wanting to wake him, I redirected myself to other chores. Not wanting to run the vacuum, I now find myself waiting for laundry loads to get into change position.

The story of my life.

I suppose I could go weed the patch by my front door. I’m waiting for a few of the things I suspect are weeds to bloom though. I think they are weeds, but #2 insists that they are plants from seeds he planted a while back. I only remember him planting Forget-Me-Nots, and these plants are something else. I will give them another day or two, and if nothing promising manifests itself by then, out they go!

Maybe.
