Amidst the errands I need to run today, I need to get over to the library to do homework. I’ve tried off and on to do it all week, but here at home, it’s just not happening. Since Hubby will be home today, I will take advantage of that and have him stay with the kids so I can go study.

Yesterday we took the kids to see Around the World in Eighty Days. It was a definite success with the kids. I think they all want to be Jackie Chan more than ever now! I must say I definitely like the military discount we get at the theater. It definitely saves us a chunk of change every time we go to the movies.

I’ve been longing to go riding for ages. Finding a place to go for a trail ride is no problem, but there are so many other things that are clamoring for attention and $$ that by far take precedence over frivolous spending. Maybe I can see about arranging a family trail ride sometime later in the summer.

I’ve found myself daydreaming lately about activities I engaged in before I was married. The kind of activities that exhibited a lifestyle that was less responsible than the one I have now. I woke up this morning thinking that a road trip would be a blast. Bundle hubby and I up and head north to Canada for the weekend, or take an extra long weekend and drive to Mexico for a few days. A week or so ago I woke up thinking about getting a tat. I recognize these things as being the bane of middle age, and I’m expecting Hubby to announce any day now that he is trading in his truck for a sports car (in his case it would be a 69 Mustang fastback). However, if he thinks he is trading me in for two twenties, he’s got another thing coming!

I keep seeing people with tatoos at the gym.

The thought actaully ran through my mind today, that if I were to get one, it would be some kind of plant. Ivy or something.

    And I rather dislike tatoos.

But I still thought about it.

Maybe that mid-life crisis stuff is real.........

    Funny Hoax warning.
Hey, I have been thinking about getting a Tattoo also. Ever sence 9/11. I want a patriotic one. There is a good place here in ------ up across the road from the Safeway. The owner and his wife live around the corner from us. Maybe next March when it is going to be our ?? birthdays we should go in together and get something done. We have done plenty of crazy things together, this could be just one more for the history books. I think at age ?? it would be bitchen.

I am taking your hoax warning and sending it to all the people I work with who have been so concerned about me in the past and sent me soooooo many hoax warnings that I've lost count. I appreciate this opportunity to show them how much I appreciate their well thought out concern.
