“…Yes.”
Well, now I know what happened when DD goes down. All my laundry gets done and my floors get mopped as well as my homework having a serious dent made in it. I also got all the plants I needed to transplant done, but have been procrastinating on the weeding. Maybe later.
#1 & #2 are spending the day fishing today. As of a few minutes ago, they reported to us on the radio that they had 4 good sized rainbow trout for dinner (their definition of good sized, which means about 6 – 10” long). They are sticking to it to see if they can pick up a couple more.
It sounds like it will be steak and trout for dinner tonight, Yummy!
Hubby is home again for about another week or two. His going on trips so often is a bummer, but at least it has a silver lining in that he gets extra pay for most of these trips. It doesn’t make up for his absence, but allows us to have some play money from time to time.
I’ve had gardening on my mind for several days, and I really need to get all of my veggies into the ground. Maybe the kids and I can do that together while Hubby is gone next weekend. They love helping me with the veggie garden. I’ll give them each a little corner to take care of themselves. I strongly suspect #3 will volunteer to do the onions as he has become quite the little onion fanatic. I’ll split carrots and radishes between #1 & #2.
Oh! The sun just came out! I’m going to take advantage of it before it disappears…
