What has 2 legs and isn't ready for a test?
Mon Apr 05 2004

Yup, me.

While I did get some studying done this weekend, with Hubby working it wasn't much and I don't remember that which I did.

Well, it's only the first test. Hopefully I will have several more opportunities to make the points up. Maybe if I give all my teachers Hubby's weekend schedule I can convince them to not give tests on the following Mondays? No, I don't think they will agree to that either. Oh well.

#1 will be going back to school this morning. He has a huge pile of homework to take with him, so I will be driving him to accommodate that. Hopefully it will be enough to bring his grades up from their current abysmal state. We have some for #2 to bring in also, for which we have the same hopes.

I’m considering having the kids start dressing for the day the night before. It takes so much time and effort to get #3 out of bed, fed and dressed, that perhaps it will help the mornings go more smoothly. OK, I probably won’t have them sleep in their clothes, but it sure sounded like a good idea at first. Maybe a taser would help expedite things for him in the mornings.

At least there is no problem getting the dog up and fed in the mornings. If only the kids could use her speed (not method) of getting through breakfast as an example.

You could always send them to bed without supper, making breakfast sound a whole lot better!

    Good luck on the test!

That happens to us in reverse though, and generally it is our own websites that we can't access. We call the IP to complain and they tell us it is a routing issue. I'll route them!

Oh, man. I remember the days....My oldest didn't get dressed before going to bed, but she did have a list of what she was going to wear each day for the coming week, and thumbtacked it inside her closet door! My youngest didn't really care, and once went to (high)school in her bathrobe and slippers, because she wanted to Make A Statement. Other than that, I remember a whole lot of nagging. So all I can say is, Good Luck!

Odd about the websites not coming up. Pzzles me, as in, pffft.

    Hugs,

I've considered growing vines up the rails, but they are utilitarian, and I share the steps with one other apartment directly next to me, so I figured I'd best not. Otherwise I'd probably do morning glories there.
