Never On A Sunday
Sun Feb 08 2004

Waking up should never be done on a Sunday. There should be a law requiring everyone to stay in bed on Sunday's. Sleeping optional for those who are not in bed alone.

What is it about weekends that promotes early wake up times for kids? #1, who is near impossible to get out of bed during the school week is typically up a good 30 minutes before I try to get him out of bed Monday through Friday. Of course, these are the days I want all of the kids to sleep extra long so I can do the same. Oh well, it helps to keep life interesting.

I am going to enjoy not doing much today. I have one load of laundry to fold, some homework to do, and some financial things to attend to, but other than that nada. I will take advantage of this to watch some of the shows I taped last week and haven't gotten to yet, like Angel & ER.

Maybe I'll watch Kate & Leopold again. Yep, that will be a definite must see.

Tomorrow is my morning to sleep in!!!
However, the roads are getting icy, so I have a feeling I may be running calls.

I think I am just like your kids, on weekends my body wakes up at 7:30 with no problems, but on a weekday, I can't drag myself out of bed at that time!

I liked seeing Sting too. He's like a fine wine.

Didn't it seem like the whole show was all over the map with no real rhyme or reason to it? I finally gave up after an hour and went to my room and just listened to it.

And it's such a joke how the promos for the show made this huge deal about the "tribute to the Beatles" and although it wasn't the worst thing I've ever heard, I thought it was a rather lame "tribute".

Of course I've been trying to rack my brain, wondering how I could have done it better, and I really don't have any answers for that question. So I guess I'll just keep my bitchin' to a minimum (doubtfully lol) and be grateful I got to see who I wanted to see. :)

i TOTALLY agree! an all out ban on getting up on sundays! and i have the same prob with ousting kids from beds on weekday mornings even though they are up at sparrow fart to watch cartoons on the weekend!

=( wish i could watch angel, we only got i think the first two series here then the channel that showed it changed to a music only thing and no one else picked it up. must get around to seeing kate & leopold one of these days, sounds good.

I agree with you wholeheartedly! I only got out of bed at noon on Sunday! Yippee!
P/S: The Rafflesia is also known as the Carrion Flower because it stinks like anything. BTW, it cannot be cultivated. It only grows in the wild.

The broad leaf weeds started looking really bad in about an hour. The Bermuda grass got spots. But didn't really turn brown till the third spray (every other day for a week) The Bermuda is my worst problem in the yard. It's a constant battle and really, you have to dig the stuff up.....over and over. But other weeds are no match for this spray.
I am so jazzed about it because I am an organic gardener from way back, and am glad to finally have something in my pocket besides a hoe and trowel. :-)
And I use soapy water in a spray bottle for aphids. Works pretty good too.
