Hubby is FINALLY home, and the kids have been bouncing off the walls since yesterday afternoon in celebration of this. The best thing about their excitement was that #1 was up and out of bed with no problems. Cool!
I didn't get any homework or studying done yesterday, so I have that looming in front of me today. I'm still not feeling confident with this class. Every day I find myself waking to the question of whether I should drop it or not, then start over next term when I can get into a class that is just with one level in it, and is at a better time for me to take it. I'm hoping Hubby can come home early today so we can discuss it before the kids get home.
The kids have Friday off from school, and Hubby and I have been bantering around ideas for things to do that day. The twins have their 14th birthday this Sunday. Hubby suggested we have their party Saturday so we don't miss the Superbowl.
OK, that came out sounding pathetic. Let me clarify that we do not live our life around football. The Superbowl is, however, something that we have a tradition and yearly routine for. This is something the kids love, and we have fun as a family doing. I personally like it for all the commercials and occasionally the half time show. Not sure how I will or won't like this year's half time as I REALLY don't like Janet Jackson.
Now, if they had Hugh for the halftime.....
