Rain, Rain, Go Away
Sat Dec 13 2003

It’s raining out, and all I want to do is crawl under the covers with a good book and a cup of hot tang. Unfortunately doing that won’t get all my chores and errands done, so it is out of the question!

We have all of the Christmas shopping done for our extended family except what we are getting for my folks. We will be going out to get that later today, then get everything into the mail and we will be DONE!!!!

The kids keep bugging us to take them out to do their shopping for Christmas. I’ve told them every time that we will be doing that next weekend after they get out of school for winter break (wink-wink, nudge-nudge)

Hubby and I have made a pre-New Years resolution to eat healthier. I pointed out to him that for that to happen, he needs to get rid of the peach pie in the fridge that he brought home Thursday. I think that is what he gave the kids for breakfast today.

The Laundry Faerie seems to have deposited all the laundry from every home in our neighborhood in front of my washing machine, so I’d better pay some attention to it. Yippie. I can barely contain my excitement.

I just read about Keiko in the paper!
So, it's raining up there too? LOL!!! We have had 2 1/2 inches since 4 am.
Re the wood, we want to hang onto it because we will use it down the road. I don't think we have any other trees we are going to take down, so we will be looking for U Cut Wood signs ourshelves in a year or so.
If you see sun, send it down.

I figured #1 would have protest. It upsets him when he feels he is being treated unfairly. I guess if the way you do things actually works for you then you should do it.
On another subject. I can't wait to hear what the boys do when you tell them about Disneyland. I can't wait until you tell us all about the trip in your Diary when you come home. Disneyland is such a magical place. Especially at Christmas time. It was the best Christmas we ever had when we went. The kids still talk about it. I'd like to take them on another Christmas trip sometime before they have their own families. Maybe we can do a combined family trip one day.
