Quiet at last
Thu Dec 04 2003

The kids are out the door, and finally there is no shouting or arguing piercing the air this morning.

After the morning I had getting them up and out the door, chocolate is DEFINITELY called for. Lots and lots of chocolate. Maybe some beer. OK, not beer. Although I know some college students who would argue that beer & Wheaties is the breakfast of champions, I tend to disagree.

I don't like Wheaties.

I've been pondering all the things I have to do that I'm putting off until after my last class next Wednesday. Until then my days will be filled with homework and study, with the occasional escape into cyber-world and to do laundry. The biggest task I have ahead of me is cleaning out the kids rooms. I'm hoping to make serious dents in the vast volume of "stuff" that has accumulated since the last time I went through the rooms. I’m estimating that the Good Will should have quite a few more kids’ clothes and toys/books/stuff once I’m through with my quest.

I’m really hoping that during this time I can have Hubby find some muscle to help remove a few furniture items from the rooms that we have been eager to part ways with. The kids don’t want to part ways with them, but there is so much stuff in their rooms now that they can hardly move. They don’t use several pieces of the furniture, so I’d like to see those pieces find new homes.

OK, I've put it off long enough. It is time to go differentiate and get up close and personal with L'Hospital's Rule.
