This, That & The Other

Today is a day full of count downs. Count down to Survivor (25.5 hours), count down to my folks arriving (47 hours), count down to Hubby coming home (55 hours) and count down to my test next week (I don't even want to think about it).

Class last night was interesting. I was quite preoccupied about the kids being home, and I think my notes definitely reflect that. My concerns ended up being groundless. Not only did they all get along together, but they (kind of) picked up some things in a few rooms. I can DEFINITELY live with that. As promised, if they had good behavior, they got paid for it. It is so nice that the kids are at the age where money talks!

Other than the counting down this week has been, and will continue to be, a whirlwind. Between doctors, dentists, orthodontists, vetrinary & school conferences I have several appointments every day. It is making it really hard to do homework! I'm waiting now for the kids to be done with dinner so I can take over the table again. For me doing my homework requires LOTS of space. With two books, three notebooks, calculator & other papers, I manage to take up my entire kitchen table. It's quite comical. The kids have started pointing and laughing at it. I threatened to not help them with their math and to give them extra homework, and that shut them up quickly.

Damn, they're done with dinner. Back to the books.
