We were then off to visit friends. We got to see our friends Eric & Heidi and their kids. We haven't seen them since before their youngest was walking, and he starts kindergarden this year. Wow what a difference! Put him side by side with his father and it is E & Mini-E! We also got to visit with Paul who was still in town before heading back to Texas.
We got back to our camp just as the sun was going down and had an enjoyable evening just hanging out in the 5th wheel.
Saturday, we were up and shortly after breakfast on the go to visit MIL. The Assisted Living facility she is in was having a Luau for lunch. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with her and had a great visit.
After that we were off to visit friends we had not seen in over a year. We went through Cub Scouts with this family, they have a son the same age as #1 & #2, and it was wonderful to get caught up with them.
We were then off to visit with SIL and her family. We didn't get to see our niece, but our nephew seemed to be doing great. He appears quite excited to be in his senior year of high school. #1, #2 & #3 had a great time playing some kind of card game with their cousin and his friend.
Finally we were back to the campground in time to fix dinner. After dinner we again just hung out as a family and relaxed. Shortly after dinner Franisbueno and her Hunky-Dave swung by for a quick hello and to pick up Frannikins shoes that she left at the house when she was up Thursday.
Sunday we were up early for breakfast, then after breakfast Hubby had me take the kids & dog down to the beach while he got everything disconnected from the campground hook-ups and connected to the truck so we could head home ahead of the rush.
From there I spent yesterday afternoon doing laundry and getting things put away. We did identify a few items it would have been nice to have in the 5th wheel, so a supply list was put together for my folks, bro and I to get together.
While it was a fun weekend, it was not so much camping as it was running. The next time we are definitely getting AWAY from everything that will have us driving all day every day of the trip! Maybe something at the coast, in the rain forest or on the other side of the mountains.
