Ugh
Fri Aug 15 2003

Today has been the Errands from Hell day. I got most of them done, it's 2:20, and I just can't find the give a hoot to do the rest of them. I need to though. I keep telling myself this, but it isn't working so far!

#2 has been sick this week. No symptoms to speak of, just a generalized feeling of malaise, then two days ago he developed an evening low grade fever. He is fine and full of energy early in the day, but droops like a wilted flower and heats up in the evening. He also has lost his appetite. I've not given him his AHDH meds during this time to try to bolster his appetite, and I'm pushing fluids to the point of almost forcefully pouring them down his throat. He is in the middle of a growth spurt (he has grown an inch and a half in the last 2 months) and I'm wondering if this isn't a result of that. I think tonight I'm going to make lasagna. It's his favorite food, and hopefully it will entice him to eat a lot. I've also made one of the family's favorite desserts (kind of a pudding pie thing the kids go nuts for) and perhaps with this his calorie intake for the day will be what mine should be for the week!

The kids are having a blast right now going through all their school supplies I bought earlier today. Both boys managed to lose their calculators last year so we have to buy them new ones. Actually I have one they can use, so I won't have to buy two. Now I just need to impress on them the concept of not losing these this year. Hmm, maybe I could buy myself a new TI92-Plus or a Voyage 200 and give my other calculator to them too. If I'm lucky I can find the 92 for under a hundred dollars on e-bay!

A lot of people have told me to read Atlas Shrugged and mentioned it as a life changing book... I hope you find it that way too!

I haven't had the balls to attempt 2000 pages in one book yet.

UGG, I hope at least the content is interesting so you can get through it. Don't you qualify for the GI money for school? That should cover it.

Maybe you should talk to LeyLeySmiles.deardiary.net. She complains about the exact opposite with financial aid. Perhaps the two of you could swap findings? Read her entries in July 2003.

    2000 pages?
How about an internet search to hit the lightlights?
Sounds like your week is going well.
Knowing you, I forecast an A in your newest math class.

I love snopes. I am certain that I drive my friends and family crazy when they care enough to clog my inbox with warnings and I find the truth at snopes and send it right back to them, along with every one else they also sent the original. Please please please please please please indeed.

Snopes is a cool site. ON the topic of fowards, I usually delete them without looking at them, even from people I know in real life (what is that, again?). They are almost always hoaxes.
