Much Ado about Nothing
Sun Jul 13 2003

Just random thoughts running through my head this evening. I've read the most recent Harry Potter book about 3 times now, and find myself wondering when we will see the 6th book?

A few months ago I was surfing around on the net and saw to my delight that for the next book, Gary Oldman will be playing Sirius Black. Is that perfect casting or what?

We had an air show here today. The twins and I got out to it for a while before the rain convinced us that we would be much more comfortable at home. #3 was going to go with his friends, but their parents decided not to risk the rain and they stayed home and watched movies.

It is about 9 now, and Hubby is finally home long enough to grab a bite and head to bed. I will be having an ice pack on this bite for hours to keep it from bruising too badly. Just kidding. He gulped down some chicken and headed to bed to be up and out the door tomorrow before the sun graces our doorstep. He will be working pretty much like this for the next two weeks. I should see him again around August 2 or so.

I wonder if I give the kids Nyquil if they will fall asleep more quickly?

I'm hoping the stores are not too crowded tomorrow with it being the day before payday.

OK, time for me to REALLY convince the kids to fall asleep so I can do the same.

Well done! You read that huge book! Attagirl! LOL!
My friends reported feeling unhappy after reading the book because it was so dark and brooding and the death of Sirius affected them quite a bit.
Hooray for your payday. Mine's not for another couple weeks.
    Take care!
    Love,

Do what I do, now that they are teens and it is summer. Just let them go to sleep when they are tired, and get up when they want to. This way you get all morning to yourself.

On the quilt. I considered tieing it but I don't want the strings on this quilt. I finished the top yesterday. I am going to get the batting and backing done this payday. Sue has a quilting frame she is going to let me use so I can hand quilt it easier. I am going to make four hearts at each block intersection. It will go with the romantic floral design of the fabrics.

wow. I never thought about the nyquil thing. If i had known I would have been able to put some in helen's bottle when she was a baby...oh wait.. she did not have a bottle... i wonder if I could have injected a Nyquill suppliment into my breast milk... oh well its too late for that. Maybe I might could put some in their sippie cups?

    Be good
