Hubby has Friday off, but unfortunately I probably won't see him until Sunday. He will be judging a Martial Arts tournament on Saturday, and needs to be at the site Friday to help set everything up. Even on Sunday I won't see much of him as he will be locked away studying for his mid-term on Monday. I'm pretty sure this is for his Diversity in the Workplace class. He has been grumbling about the instructor since the class started. Evidently she has what he describes as a very nebulous style of teaching. He finds it hard to study for and learn from the vague way she presents material.
Boy I'm glad I'm not a business major. All of his classes so far have sounded about as exciting as watching paint dry.
#2 has an assignment for school in which he needs an adult partner (me). It is a college education project for the next week. He needs to look at what types of education are available, and what colleges might fit his needs. After that he needs to research all that he will need to be doing in a few years to make going to college happen. It is quite interesting, and I wish they had something like this when I was his age. I don't know if he gets to take the multi question, personality profiling test that will suggest what kind of jobs he would be best suited for. I hated those tests. They told me I should be a large equipment operator or a beautician. Now there are dull sounding jobs. Actually I could do the beautician one as long as everyone wanted their head shaved.
