The kids didn't dig their heels in too much this morning, although I think they set a record on eating breakfast slower than any other time.

The boys and I have eye appointments this morning. I get to find out how much more blind I am since my last appointment 4 or 5 years ago. Yippie. I am considering getting contacts again. I am still up in the air about it. I like them, but getting used to poking myself in the eye every day is a pain in the butt. Last time I tried to get disposable (about 10 years ago) they did not make them for my type of prescription. Maybe technology has remedied that. We will see.

    there is humor columnist with the washington post who gets these all the time.
    he actually answers them, but without any intention of feeding into their scam...just jerking them around. Gene Weingarten.

    Some of these letters are so poorly written I have to laugh.

    That isn't spam.
    It's fraud, criminal fraud.
    It is one of the well known scams operating out of Nigeria.
    You are right in encouraging people to delete it.

    *LOL* We get a similar fax letter almost every week at work. All on supposedly "official" letterhead. We have great fun shredding it. :)
