He was totally exhausted and not feeling well at the end of the day. He slept most of the way home, and went straight to bed when we got home. It was only 3:30 in the afternoon. I'm not surprised though, he felt quite warm and I'm pretty sure he has at least a low grade temp. If he did that well at the tournament while sick, I can't wait to see how he does when he feels well! His next tournament is in April.
He also got his report card in the mail today. He has brought every single one of his grades up! We are so excited, but haven't had a chance to heap kudos on him as he fell asleep before we opened the mail!
While Hubby and #2 spent the day reveling in martial arts, #3 and I went to visit my bro. We admired all the updates to their kitchen, and more so the company.
After #3 and I picked up Hubby and #2, we were going to visit my MIL, but we were concerned with #2 not feeling well that he might have something and be contagious. We didn't want to expose Mom to anything, so we just came home.
I think even if he had known he was going to get sick when we first left this morning, he would not have said anything. He was so excited about today, that nothing else really mattered to him.
Now we are all back home. Everyone is relaxing (except for me who is frantically trying to make up for lost time in the ongoing laundry struggle. It is a losing battle, but I will continue to struggle against it for the remainder of my cognitive days!
