It is a good thing the boys are being cooperative this morning! It is amazing what promising them a movie after they are completely ready for school will do for the morning routine! I don't think I have ever seen them get ready that fast!
#2 has a Karate Tournament this weekend. It is back in our home town. #3 and I will drop off Hubby and #2, then go find ways to entertain ourselves. I suspect to the chagrin of #3, part of that time will be spent going through the mall shopping. I will definitely need to make sure he has his gameboy! I think swinging by Game Crazy and finding a new game for him will help also.
The kids are getting really excited about the upcoming new classes at the Y. #2 is beyond thrilled that he will be in TKD with Hubby. That is all he could talk about yesterday. I know Hubby will love being back in Martial Arts also. He practiced a different art several years ago, achieving his black belt. He has been unable to practice since shortly after that time. I'm wondering if #1 will want to get into it with them when he returns from Alaska. I hope so. I think this would be a wonderful activity for them to have with their Dad. I'm fairly sure #3 will eventually want to get back into it, but right now he has lost the interest.
I don't know if the kids or myself have been enjoying the Y more. While they are in their classes, I go to work out. I typically get in anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes of aerobics while they are there. We do this Monday through Thursday, then try to go swimming on Friday or Saturday. It's wonderful! I'm hoping once the weather gets warmer that Fridays can be converted from swimming to biking or hiking. We will see.
