I haven't seen the floor in the boys rooms in quite a while, so it is time for them to clean! The biggest challenge is keeping them in their rooms and away from each other. They seem to have a compulsion to bicker and pick fights when they are supposed to clean their rooms. This of course makes me quite grumpy. I don't like having to yell, and they don't like being yelled at. You would think they would figure out that if they just left each other alone, they would get their rooms cleaned more quickly with less yelling.
I really don't remember having this type of behavior when I was their age. I remember resisting cleaning my room, but not the histrionics my kids put on. Days like this I really wished I had a jacuzzi I could go soak the stress away in!
