Why don't kids come with fuel injection?

Getting #3 going today has been interesting indeed! He managed to take 45 minutes just to eat his breakfast, and now he is tarrying over the finishing touches on his composition book.

Hubby and I are going to an awards banquet tonight. He has been nominated for another award, so we will be going to see if he gets it. This calls for me to wear a dress that is less formal than my formal gown, but more formal than the dresses I have for church. That, of course, means SHOPPING!!!!! After the stores open I will be hitting them to find something that meets the criteria.

It was sure easier when he was enlisted! As an officer, both he and I are required to have clothing items that we would not otherwise have. I can remember when I was enlisted, we got a yearly allowance for required clothing items. Officers do not get this, so we get to muster up the several hundreds of dollars for the mess dress he is required to have.

Ah well, such is live!

I got my math test back, and another A! I'm stoked about this. It always helps to lift my spirits to see that I did better than I expected on a test. When I was talking with my math teacher yesterday, she asked what my plans were. She mentioned teaching to me. For high school you are only required to have a bachelors in Math and a teaching certificate (although she recommended a Masters in Education). For teaching at the junior college or college level, you need your Masters in Math, but not the same certificate requirements as at the public school level. When I got home, I checked out the school's website, and saw that there are currently about 4 openings for Math teachers. I'm pretty sure this may have been what was behind her suggestions.

Food for thought. I do have a friend who is a high school math teacher. Hubby told me he thinks she also teaches at the community college in that area also. I think I may drop her a note to get her views on it. I am interested to see the opinion of someone in the high school trenches as well as my teachers.
