This can't be Monday

I woke up early, am full of energy and in a super mood. This seldom if ever happens on a MONDAY!

Hubby is gone for the week, so it is the kids and I to fend for ourselves. If I know #3, he will start an All McDonalds campaign. #2 will join him, provided that the spree is sprinkled with Taco Bell!

The kids have school off tomorrow. The schedule gives no reason for the day off, it states that it is not a holiday, inservice day, or alternative learning day. It just proclaims that it is a No School/No Work day. I guess the schools don't know that the rest of the world does not have that day off. While the kids do not have school, I still do. I will have to come up with something for them to do for an hour and a half while I am at class.

Either that or find where Hubby has put the Duct Tape.

    Oh you'll love this one. They are all getting the day off so all the teachers can go to Olympia and rally to get the pay raise that the voters voted to give them, that now the Governer says there is not any money to pay them the increase. Also the voters voted to reduce class size, yet the state says there is not enough money to pay for the extra staff to reduce the class sizes. They are hoping the legislation will magicaly pull money out of the air and give them what the voters wanted to give them. You can expect a strike next. Because they are not going to get what they want. As usual it will be the kids paying for it. I am just hoping all this dose not screw up my sons senior graduation next year.

    It's just comforting to know you guys are just so squeaky clean, you can't be allowed to hear any of that bad language.
