Well, my MIL was moved to the Nursing home, and we just heard from my SIL about what is going on. Evidently on two occasions she has pushed her call button for urgent needs, and both times she was ignored for an extreme length of time.
SIL reports that on one occasion, they were coming to visit, noticed her call light on and the nurse sitting in a chair reading the paper. They went into her room to find that she had placed the call quite a while before and had no response. Needless to say, SIL was furious. I believe it would be understating it if I were to suppose that she chewed the nurse a new southern orifice.
Had hubby and I been there, the nurse would have more than one new orifice.
