Exercise in frustration
Thu Jan 09 2003

Traffic yesterday SUCKED. #3 had swimming at 4:00, and #2 did not have classes until 5:30. Since we are only 10 minutes from the Y, I left #2 home during #3's class so he would not get too bored and bounce off the walls. #3 and I left the Y to head home at 4:35, and did not get home until 5:40 due to some kind of traffic snarl that we never did see (one of those instances where traffic magically cleared, showing no obvious reason for the slow down in the first place).

Needless to say #2 missed his first class, but was well rested and ready when Tae Kwon Do started.

I hate traffic.

Hopefully we will not see a repeat of that today when we go to and from the Y for gymnastics. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but not holding my breath.

On to other subjects, heard from SIL yesterday that MIL was transferred to a nursing home. We had hoped for a few more days in the hospital, but it was not to happen. At least this nursing home is near SIL's home so she can get over there easier than she could to the hospital. Hubby is going to go down Friday for a visit. He wasn't clear as to if it was only for the day or for the weekend, but I'm sure he will make that clear before he leaves.

That is sooo funny..(the entry about the underwear)

I have never noticed that about men. Maybe it is just the men in your home. Or maybe my hubby is different and weird. He will put my clothes up and go into that drawer all the time.

Sorry about your MIL and the bad service that she is getting.

Hope that you have a good rest of the night!

    Peace!

I would love to use my washing machine for something other than laundry. If it works, let me know ;)
