The adventure continues
Fri Jan 03 2003

#1 was unable to get out of Anchorage last night due to continuing fog at my folks. He got to spend the night with the sister of our aunt, and her children and grandchildren. We spoke to him several times yesterday and he always seemed disgruntled to be taken away from playing to talk on the phone!

This morning the weather is cooperating, so he should be taking off any minute and heading to my folks. His adventure should be coming to an end in a few hours.

#2 is quite jealous that his brother is having a globetrotting experience. #3 seems indifferent. Hubby and I were concerned, but glad that he is getting to have an adventure to wrap up his winter break. #1 has made new friends, and had an adventure that should turn into a wonderful memory.

I hope MIL pulls through OK.
A broken hip is so common amongst the elderly, women and men, but in women especially (osteoporosis).
Take care - my thoughts are with you.

The actions of that lawyer are indeed baffling. Without the active participation of the "father" though, I feel certain her attempts are doomed to failure.

A broken hip, your poor MIL. Takes so long to heal. I hope everything goes well, I wish her best of luck.

Wishing your Mother-In-Law a quick recovery.

I can't even imagine what that poor boy of your friend's is going through. How awful.
