Much Better
Fri Dec 27 2002

Well, #1 is much better this morning. In actuality was much better last night after he got sick. We are pretty sure it was a mild case of food poisoning. He was going hog wild on the samples at Costco yesterday and we all raised our eyebrows at the funny smelling onion soup he tasted.

We have a storm coming through the area today. Hubby is quite excited as he is sure it will blow more leaves and branches into our yard for him to be able to take care of. I think he is completely in love with his Ryobi Blower/Vav/Mulcher. I caught him composing a sonnet to it last night.

The kids are enjoying running around playing with their light sabers this morning. We watched Attack Of The Clones last night, and all morning they have been playing it. The first one who called it got to be Anakin, the other two decided that Anakin had two brothers, and they were playing them. I didn't catch what the names were, but I don't know that it mattered!

We will be going down to Hubby's sister's tomorrow. We will be seeing The Two Towers again, I can't wait! I know there are parts I will take notice of that I didn't the first time I saw it. I found that to be true also of the first LOTR movie. We got the DVD of the first movie for Christmas, that has all the additional bells and whistles included. It was interesting seeing the uncut version, and how much was taken out that really contributed to the story. Ya just gotta love all the different toys that come on DVD's!

heh - don't worry about the "blonde" moment. I have entire "blond" months! I knew exactly what happened when I read your comment, which is what gave me the giggles. I identify with it far too well!

Dear Diary needs a spell checker in their entry update system in the worst way....

LMAO, I have to agree with Salamander. A spell check wouldn't be too out of the question, even for myself.
The worst speller I know though, is my husband. It took me almost two full days, to edit and correct the spelling in his stories I put up in my site. And considering he had 4 of them for me to add? Ewwwww. I swear, he used morse code on them. :D And he's actually a well read man. Yet he has trouble spelling and pronouncing the simplist of words. :D He gets so frustrated when I correct his pronunciation of a word. I've become the worst of english teachers when he's about. ;) He still loves me though....at least when he's not grumbling about me correcting him.
    Happy Holidays. XXXXX

    Ditto on the spellchecker.
Wasn't that one hell of a storm that came through? We lost power three times and some are still without. Max is busy with clean up, but he doesn't have any fun toys to use like yours does.
Glad your son is feeling better.

I love to read! I am patiently waiting for Jean Auel's sequel (Clan of the Cavebear Series) to come out in paperback. I read alot of the books you mentioned as a child also. There is nothing better (well, maybe a couple of things) than getting lost in a good book.
