Early Christmas Dinner
Sun Dec 22 2002

My bro and SIL are coming up today for a visit with us and #1. Since we will all be together, I'm fixing a holiday dinner.

The turkey is in the oven. The stuffing was made last night and only needs to be re-heated. Only the potatoes need to be peeled, and that will wait until right before I'm ready to boil them. I'm bypassing the green bean casserole this time. There isn't enough room in my fridge for all the leftovers as it is!

My house smells WONDERFUL right now!

#1 is re-adapting to a life with brothers quite easily. They are all so glad to see each other right now, that the behavior is at its best. I wonder how long that will last?

#1 just spoke with my folks, and now is bummed. Today is the first day of snow they have had up there, and he is down here for it! I find it amusing that the snow timed itself for the first day of winter. Pure coincidence I know, but there are times I'm sure Mother Nature has a sense of humor. There is already proof that God has a sense of humor, just look at the Ostrich and the Avacado!
