The fruit cake is WONDERFUL!!!! It does not tast like traditional fruit cake (which I can't stand), and I suspect it will help the kids fall asleep quickly! Just brush some more brandy over the top and....

The house smells wonderful. I'm just waiting for the last of the cakes to come out of the oven then I will start dinner. Until then I'm going to enjoy the wonderful scents wafting around me!
