One week and counting
Wed Dec 18 2002

The kids are finding it harder and harder to get to sleep at night, such is their excitement of their brother coming home and Christmas only a week away. Warm milk, hot baths and other proactive measures are being taken in the evenings!

Hubby only works until Friday, then other than a few hours next week he has about 2 weeks off. It will be so nice to have him home without having him locked away doing homework!

Of course, since it is the Christmas season and a good portion of our "extra" money (if there ever is such a thing!) has gone towards gifts, the heater in the van died. We had considered going up to the mountains next week some time to play in the snow, but not without a heater! The van is really our only vehicle that all 5 of us fit into for more than a short drive to the store. Even for that without taking the van we need a shoe horn and quart of oil to get us all into the car or truck!

Well, who said life is dull?

Today I will be making a final pass through all the rooms in the house before making a Good Will run. I have about a dozen sacks of clothes and other "stuff" to take in. It will be nice to have the space back that all that is occupying!

Marinating for a week? LMAO. you sure do like to forgt the holiday season don't you. I can sympathize (or will soon) with not being able to get everyone in one car. If I want to travel with shannon in one car, we can only get three kids in it, and there are five, three of which are in car seats... Sigh... need a van... that is what i am hearing you say.
    Keep drinking theraputically
    Love,
