I get such a chuckle from #2. For the last few days getting him to even look at his trumpet has been like pulling teeth from an alligator. But today after his lesson, trumpet is his favorite thing in the whole wide world.
This excitement will last for a few days, then the trumpet will again become a chore and he will be unenthusiastic until after the next lesson. I think maybe I will see if perhaps about halfway between lessons I could get Hubby to put aside 10 or 15 minutes to have a jam session or home lesson. Hopefully that will extend the excitement.
