Almost 20 years ago Hubby had a '78 Mustang. I believe it was his first car, and he loved it. As he looks at it now, he foolishly sold it when it developed mechanical problems that were quite on the spendy side. Ever since then he has looked longingly at Mustangs, intending to one day have one.
A few days ago, Hubby heard about a Mustang show in Olympia. Wearing comfortable clothes to church for a change, we headed south afterwards to submerse ourselves in Mustangs.
As a child my grandparents had a Mustang, and I have always been partial to them also. My preference is a '64 1/2 convertible. Of course that is from a sentimental point of view (although my grandparents car was not a convertible.) After yesterday, Hubby has decided his preference leans more towards the '67 Fastback.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with "Eleanor" in the movie Gone in Sixty Seconds.
