Second wake up
Fri Sep 06 2002

Well, finally I am awake for the day. I woke up a few hours ago to take hubby to get his expired license renewed. I'm glad I'm not the only absent minded member of this family. Of course that leaves the question, what else have we forgotten? That could be scarey.

Right now I have a Hugh movie in the DVD player, I'm taking a break from housework to mindlessly type on the keyboard, and contemplating what to do next. I've been going through the house room by room sifting through our belongs and gathering a wonderfully humungous load of goods to take to the Good Will. I have about 10 sacks already and I've only gone through one closet and two rooms. With any luck I will correct my pack-rat ways.

I don't think I've significantally weeded through our belongs since before we were married almost 14 years ago. Oh, sure, there has been the occasional goint through the kids clothing as they out grow them, but not much else!

I suppose I can view life through a warped reality, re-establish my pack-rat ways and insist that by getting rid of all these things I will be unbalancing our home. In order to prevent it from floating away or flipping upside-down I should go shopping and buy toys to balance the house out. I wonder if I could convince Hubby that we need two or three new computers, a wireless router, maybe anything else that catches my fancy while I geek at the computer store. Maybe some new clothes. New appliances? Oh... a new car!

OK, maybe not.

I just need to keep reminding myself that my goal is to get OUT of debt.
