Frustration finally over
Tue Sep 03 2002

Last Thursday the server I connect to apparently died a sad and tragic death. In the past when my ISP had server problems, I was without internet access for a few hours. This time I have been high and dry for FIVE DAYS.

Any other time of the year I would not have been too frustrated by this. Right now though, the teachers in the local schools have been threatening to strike. The instructions sent to all families in the district? Go to a certain website to monitor the progress.

Yea, right.

When my access was FINALLY restored today, I discovered that a tentative agreement was reached and school will start as planned tomorrow.

The kids are excited to go back to school and very happy that it won't be delayed.

I am excited that I will be able to clean the house and it will stay clean for more than 3 minutes.

Hubby is on the east coast until Friday and oblivious to it all.

The only thing to make life better right now would be Chocolate Rasberry Truffle Ice Cream! Well, that and to have all the laundry done.

Being without Internet access is *almost* as bad as having no computer at all! I just went through a week of uninstalling/reinstalling Windows, losing all my ("backed up") documents and photos, signing up for MSN (and then trying to unsubscribe) and finally getting things somewhat back to normal.

What trauma! And to think there was a time in my life when computers didn't even exist!

    G'day mate.
You really like this Aussie Hugh Jackman? *raises eyebrows*
You obviously have a bit of an eye for the fellas ;) ,
otherwise you wouldn't be drooling over the beefcake.
I can appreciate the finer things of life too,
    but preferably the opposite sex.
Now Nicole Kidman is one fine Aussie girl *drools*
    Enjoy!

I have been wondering what the heck happened to you!
Re the calendar: If we had ff's on our department that looked like that I would camp out at the station. I do have to admit, my husband looks very sexy in his turnouts, makes me think about male and female couplings and setting up a draft with some hard suction. LOL. I love fire lingo.
