Another beautiful day

...stretches before me like a bountiful picnic. With any luck I will be able to take the kids to the lake today. Yesterday they learned a bit more about cause and effect.

I told them that once they were done doing certain tasks, we would go to the lake (that was around noon). At 3:30, when NONE of the tasks had been done they were all crying, complaining and throwing tantrums that I had not taken them. Sorry boys, Mommy does not budge on that AT ALL.

We will see today if they learned their lesson...

    Whoa, what happened to Hugh? He looks really....ummm, different in this picture.
    Re my horse, Shah: He is out of Shah El Bey, whose sire is Huckleberry Bey. HB was made into a Beyer horse several years ago. This makes him double Bey Shah, and he sure looks it.
    Gonna be a hot one down here too.

    Well, I hope they cooperate for your lake trip today. If it's half as nice there as it is here, it would be a terrible day to waste indoors.
