All three of the boys are going through a growing spurt right now. I attribute this to the med situation. During summer and vacation times the boys get a "med holiday" and either take lower doses or no medications for the ADHD. When this happens they usually grow a bit more quickly as they do when on the meds (the Doc's say this is normal).
I have had three boys eating what seems like non-stop for the past week. In the past week I bought almost 10 pounds of Bananas, 3 large bunches of grapes, 20 nectarines, 14 peaches, a 5 pound bag of mixed apples and oranges, 6 gallons of milk, 8 boxes of cereal, and a variety of meat, pasta and veggies for dinners. By yesterday all but a few carrots and 1/2 gallon of milk was gone. I swear I have watched all of the boys grow before my eyes! They go to bed and when they wake up their pants are too short and their shoes too small (OK, small exaggeration there).
At least with all that fruit the boys are quite regular...
