Well, it is her Cruciate Ligament. In addition to that there is also some damage to the Meniscus. If I remember what the vet told me correctly, this is like a disc or cushion in the knee.
The vet has submitted this to the surgeon for a quote. After that comes back I will take Salamanders advice and get a second opinion/quote.
Well, it looks like the credit cards are going to get bruised some more.
It's amazing how cars, kids and pets can sure keep you from getting yourself out of debt! I'm also kicking myself now for not having insurance for her.
Ah well, hindsight is 20/20....
