Pizza & (root)Beer
Thu Apr 25 2002

Every Wednesday night it is just the kids and I for dinner since Hubby has school, but the kids have no activities.

We usually try to do something fun on those nights. Tonight the choice was a quick and easy U-bake Pizza. I'm not one to object, there are fewer dishes that way!

Since #1 got in trouble again today, he has additional chores which include cooking dinner and cleaning the kitchen after. He enjoys the cooking part, but hates the clean up part. I invited him to join reality when he told me that, and told him to go and re-read The Little Red Hen.

The house is filled with the wonderful aroma of pizza, and I am surrounded by #2, #3 and the dogs. They all seem to be asking when dinner will be ready.

Ah, life in Suburbia goes on.....

I like the 'Socks on the floor' solution...
Do you have a solution for 'dirty plates at the end of his bed' and 'belching really loud at every possible opportunity'?!
My room mate has a heap of bad habits to match his heap of dirty clothes .....

Last night before I went to bed, I picked up all the dirty clothes HE had piled up around the living room last night, and I piled them right on top of his shoes that I knew he'd be wearing for work today. I thought maybe he'd taket he hint, and put the clothes in the basket before he left.

    Didn't work.

And all his socks are DARK. The red towel trick wouldnt' work. :(

Being a full time mother, dedicating my life to my children and owning six pets that I treat as children, my blue score should be a 10, so I am not sure how accurate this is. The top three scores do describe me pretty well though.

Your 'sock solution' made me laugh and I'm sure it will probably work after the first time.
