Life is like a box of chocolates

The theme to Forrest Gump has been going through my head all day. I'm not sure why, I haven't seen the movie in more than a year, but I keep hearing the piano entry where the feather is flitting through the air before coming to a rest by him sitting on the park bench.

Guess you never know what you're gonna get....

We took the kids to see Clockstoppers today. Cute movie, entertaining for the kids and amusing for the parents. We then ran by a U-bake pizza place where after a brief flirt with an argument, we came away with two pizzas instead of the original one intended. It seems the wind changed directions and the kids don't like any of the toppings they used to, go figure.

Today was our first appointment as a family for counseling. We were brought into a room where we were all asked to lay back on couches and tell this gentleman what we thought of our parents. When we all spoke up at once it was a bit confusing, but he seemed to understand what we were all saying. He kept muttering that sometimes a bananna was just a bananna.

OK, it was nothing like that. The above just sounded more entertaining than the actual appointment. We will be seeing this Gent once a week as a family, and we will be getting #1 in to see him for individual counseling. Hopefully with time, patience and Prozac we will see some progress.

Just kidding on the Prozac.

You're funny. I believed you about the shrink, at first.

That photo of your daughter and your dog is great.

Err, that is your daughter, right?

Handsome boy, from the photo I saw of you with the dog, he looks like momma.

LOL about the therapy..... You know I would always sit on the couch I kept waiting for her to say, lay back realax, like in the movies. I never even put my feet up on the couch, I thought it was too unlady like.

That is such a sweet picture. Both of them look very loving. I was hopeing you were kidding about the shrink visit. I just could not picture an office with 5 couches! I never got to lay down durring any of my visits, as a matter of fact there were never ANY couches!
