Hmm
Tue Mar 15 2016

Blood tests have come back, thyroid and everything else is normal. The only change from my last blood test is that it is my FSH levels confirm menopause.

The doc admits that may be the cause of the hair loss, but is holding off saying that definitively until I see the dermatologist.

In the mean time, I had my hair cut to what the stylist told me will help give an illusion of having fuller hair than I do, and now I can't decide if I hate it, or just don't like it.

I'm going to wait a few days until I figure out what to do with this new style to make a final judgement.

Thankfully some of my hair still grows.

I am glad you will be okay. Ummm...it took a while for me to get into your diary when you wrote something. I wasn't able to get in your diary for a while and when it did not come up, it said your diary could not be found.

Did they run just the TSH or an entire thyroid panel?

I went 10 month (10 MONTHS!!!!!!!) without having a period so I was right on the cusp of full blown menopause when I had a period in January and I've been ridiculously regular since. I'm not having my own personal heatwaves at this point so I guess that's a bonus. I had one in October that actually scared several people who witnessed it *rolls eyes*

I am fast heading down that path myself. I always carry 'supplies' now as I just never know when they will be needed.
