Does anyone have a good recipe and canning instructions for Chow-Chow?

You know I don't can but my mother did and her chow chow was fantastic. I'll poke around in the basement and see if I can find her recipe.

errr....pardon my ignorance but WHAT is chow chow exactly? Cause the only referance point I have is a fluffy kind of dog and Im pretty sure thats not what you mean :)
