We took #3 over to his girlfriends around 2, stopping to drop a couple boxes and bags off at the GoodWill drop. #1 has been hanging out with his sweetie here and at a neighbors today, and #2 is at work right now.
Following a trip to the grocery store, Hubby and I broiled the steaks that have been marinating all day and whipped up some parmesan green beans to go with them. Yum!!!!
Best part of today? I'm down another pound. That makes a total of 15 pounds lost since December 16. Admittedly part of that was weight lost during my bout of pneumonia, but the rest is thanks to our jumping back onto the South Beach diet two weeks ago. We start Phase 2 tomorrow, and I'm REALLY looking forward to being able to have fruit again. I need to go get some grapes and freeze them for yummy snacks. I also explained the difference between "Whole Wheat" and "Whole Grain" breads to Hubby, and we picked up some likely loaves of bread I look forward to toasting a piece and topping off with Adams Peanut Butter tomorrow morning.
Over all, life is boring. In respect to the last 15 years, it's a welcome relief to be able to have more and more of these!
