Boy do I hope I fall asleep early tonight. I took a melatonin about 15 minutes ago in the hopes that it will help me to be asleep by 8:30.

I would dearly love to be able to work out in the mornings before work, which means I have to be up at 4 to be at the Y by 4:30. I have yet to make that goal.

Our Y is so incredibly crowded in the afternoons and evenings, there are literally no parking spaces to be found between 4PM and 7PM. We need another Y out in this area or at the very least a much larger parking lot. If I have to park a good distance away from the Y, by the time I walk to the facility I don't want to work out anymore.

We got the results of the state tests for high schoolers for #3 yesterday, and he failed the math portion. If I understand it, this means that he has to take two full years of math to meet that requirement.

He already has to make up a science class, so he is now looking at three additional classes to his regular high school courses he needs to take. I'm starting to think he may be in high school until he is 20.

OK, OK, this is the doom and gloom vision of the situation. I'm just frustrated that none of my kids seem to realize how important education is, and that they have no interest in taking it seriously.

I'm going to go beat my head against the wall for a while until I fall asleep...
