Driving to and from my class today, I realized that the area of KC I'm in is a very attractive town. I actually wouldn't mind living here.

Except for the whole tornado thing. And lack of mountains. And lack of ocean.

OK, on second thought I'll stick with the PNW!

    Hey, where's your sense of adventure? Tornados are fun and educational *giggles madly*

    We've been kicking around the idea of going to the big annual KC BBQ festival next time around. I actually even looked it up the other day to find out when and where but got distracted by bright shiny objects.......Well, OK. I was distracted by a naughty Himalayan trying to drink from my water glass. Same difference.

    Where exactly is the difference between living with teenagers and tornados?

    And don't forget the 9-month-long, very cold winters in the Midwest.

    Yeah, I think the PNW is the better choice.
