#2 is currently living up with my folks, working and trying to get in to his chosen career field up there where there are more opportunities than there are down here.
He has recently been diagnosed with Whooping Cough. He has been given meds and instructed to rest (which hopefully he will actually do).
Silly me thought my kids were protected against it having been immunized when they were little. But the protection offered to infants and children with these immunizations wears off as we get older. I'm now thinking about seeing if I can get my family re-immunized against this as well as anything else that is available.
I probably don't need to worry about getting us immunized against distemper...
