The Name Game

OK, for a brief moment last week, after several beers and an animated discussion on the movie "Blazing Saddles", we briefly thought a good name for the pup would be Mongo.

Mongo LIKE candy!

Then we sobered up. Amazingly we did not feel the same about the name Mongo when we were sober.

We did finally settle on a name.

"Jake"

We pick him up tonight, pictures will be posted after that.

    One time when we were sort of lost on a dirt road with all three boys in the back seat of a Volkswagen bug, since they were getting kind of scared.. we made up a game. We told this long convoluted story about searching for The Lost Mongo-Mongo diamond.

    Pretty soon we found our way out of the logging road maze.

    We didn't find the diamond though...

    Okay, between your picks and the baby kitties at the shelter, my vocabulary is quickly shrinking to just ooooooooo and aaaaahhhhh! And I have the goofiest smile on my face when I say it.

    That is *some* puppy. 200 pounds full grown? You both need second jobs just to feed him.
