Went on his first date today. My baby is growing up.

I'm going to go sink myself in deinal for a while now.

    It happens in the best of families. Did he enjoy himself? Will there be a second date with that particular girl? Oh, I have quite a raft of questions, but I guess I won't get all that nosy.

    Oh, that is a hard one to take.

    I remember it well.

    I was just thinking last night that being a mother is the one job I know of where you try to (sort of) make yourself obsolete.
