Nervous
Mon Mar 23 2009

Our government is making me nervous. First off, many of the proposals coming from the Obama administration sounds a little too much like Socialism for my likes.

The biggest source of nervousness? All these bail-outs.

I suppose a bail out is a good thing under the correct circumstances, but I don’t believe these are the correct circumstances. I would like to ask, just where is this money going to come from?

We are lucky, we have jobs and are able to pay our bills. I realize that many people out there aren’t as lucky. I worry though about the source of the money for these bail-outs, us. While I don’t mind paying my fair share (OK, that’s a lie, I hate paying taxes but as I don’t want to go to prison I will keep paying them), I don’t want to have to pay somebody else’s fair share too.

Look HERE for more info on this.

You don't *really* need to ask where the money is coming from, now do you?

What has me raging is the CEOs who are still getting their multi-million dollar bonuses--out of the bailout money!! And they're getting bonuses for criminal mismanagement of their businesses. How is that fair?

My Social Security and State Teacher Retirement are being taxed. OK, so that's where government gets the money to do their business. I gladly pay that. But not for graft, corruption, bribery, gross mismanagement and any other malfeasance you can think of. And *that's* what the bailout money is paying for. Greed.

Yeah, I pay my taxes too, because I'm too old to go to prison.
