Hubby, #1, #3 and I went to see The Watchmen tonight. I've read a few of the GN's, so I knew pretty much what to expect. Hubby and the boys however... not so much.
I'll be the first to say I didn't LOVE it, but I didn't HATE it. It was exactly what I expected. I wouldn't go pay $10 to see it again, but I might rent it when it comes out to see the extras that will undoubtedly be a part of the DVD.
Not knowing what to expect, Hubby and the boys didn't like it at all. That didn't surprise me for Hubby and #3, but I thought #1 would have liked it more. I think it may have had something to do with full frontal male nudity. Not just that mind you, but somehow that seems to make some men uncomfortable. Go figure.
Personally it didn't bother me. ;^D
All of that being said, if you want to go to a movie to see LOTS of violence, lots of blood and guts, gratuitous nudity and sex, campy lines, and a bipolar script, then this is the movie for you!
