Snow Won't Go Away

#3 has been out of school since Wednesday, my work closed down yesterday morning and was closed today. Today is blue skies and mid 20's, and we're expecting another storm to come through this weekend. This time it's bringing wind with it.

We've been lucky so far and haven't lost power, I don't think that luck will last.

My cold continues to hold on like a dog with a bone. I've stocked up on Nyquil, Tylenol Sinus, and cough drops. I've been fairly good about getting lots of sleep, but it continues to reside in my sinuses, throat and lungs.

Yippie.

I need to remember to pick up more OJ the next time I hit the store. And maybe some whiskey.

A hot toddy for a cold never hurts... right?

    A hot toddy won't hurt so long as you don't take other paracetamol at the same time

    Of all the times of the year to get a cold!

    Rest is best. Do as much as you can. And get well soonest!!

    I prefer rum for the hot toddy. But I take a couple meds that warn against alcohol. Well, if I get that sick, then I'll have my hot rum toddy anyway. Anything hot feels good, but the whiskey or rum just makes it work better.

    I strongly vote for the hot toddy. Even if it doesn't kill the invading germs, you won't care that you feel like crap ;)

    Nope, anything hot is good, though I prefer a hot scotch myself - cocoa with butterscotch schnapps. Yum!
