I took #3 Christmas shopping earlier today, and we added to the ever growing pile sitting in the corner in my room waiting for the 25th. I even managed to get all the gifts purchased today wrapped. I’m relieved that I don’t have a stack of things waiting for me to wrap, but panicked that I still have things I’m looking for and can’t find or things I need to figure out in order to start looking for them.
I have NO idea what to get my folks. They have just about everything. I suspect later today or perhaps tomorrow I'll head over to the Home Depot to see if I can get some inspiration there for my Dad, and perhaps one of the local fabric stores to seek inspiration for Mom.
We're expecting snow or at least very cold weather this upcoming week. I'm torn; I enjoy snow but don't enjoy commuting through snow and ice. I am kind of hoping that it does snow tomorrow as I'm planning a cookie baking marathon then, but miraculously the roads would be dry as a bone and I wouldn’t be facing a slippery drive Monday morning.
OK, back to crocheting. This project I’m working on isn’t going to crochet itself. Although… wouldn’t that be nice?
